Country supergroup ALABAMA are suing their former drummer for the cash they overpaid him on their 2003 farewell tour.
Bandmates Randy Owen, Jeff Cook and Teddy Gentry claim Mark Herndon, who spent 25 years as the band's drummer for hire, owes them $200,000 (GBP100,000).
Ironically, Herndon recently asked his former bandmates for a $65,000 (GBP32,500) advance on sales from a live album Alabama recorded during the 2003 farewell tour, according to the Globe.
The Alabama trio reportedly reacted to his request by suing him for the $200,000 (GBP100,000) advance he got prior to the 2003 tour.
A source close to Herndon tells the Globe that the drummer is prepared to come forward with details that will ruin the Country Music Hall of Fame band's legacy if Owen, Cook and Gentry insist on taking their lawsuit further.
The insider says, "Mark kept his mouth shut tight when they were rocked by alleged extramarital affairs... and bad business deals.
"If they go ahead with this, he's going to let them have it."
MARIO LOPEZ cheated on ex-girlfriend KARINA SMIRNOFF with a Texan bartender, according to a new tabloid expose.
The actor split with Smirnoff earlier this month (Jun08) after an 18-month-long romance, which began when they were paired up as dance partners on TV competition Dancing with the Stars.
But San Antonio waitress Meaghan Cooper claims Lopez romanced her for 11 months behind Smirnoff's back.
The 22-year-old tells Star magazine, "He has a lot of great qualities, but he's not the most faithful person in the world.
"He told me he lived alone, but I opened up his closet and saw a row of women's shoes and said, 'Either you're a cross-dresser or a woman is living here.'
"Mario said Karina just left her stuff there and was moving out. He kept telling me he and Karina were broken up."
CAMERON DIAZ, ROBERT DOWNEY JR., HUGH JACKMAN, SHAKIRA, SIR BEN KINGSLEY and husband-and-wife team WILLIAM H. MACY and FELICITY HUFFMAN are among a glittering list of names who will be awarded stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2009.
The hot list also includes Kyra Sedgwick, Kenny 'Baby Face' Edmonds, Tim Burton, Ralph Fiennes, The Village People, John Stamos, bands Rush and The Miracles as well as Disney character Tinkerbell.
Twenty-five celebrities have been approved by a committee and will be presented with their stars provided they agree to attend a presentation ceremony within five years and hand over $25,000 (GBP12,500) to cover the cost of protecting the star.
